Soulscheme was a collaborative project by Peter Mansfield and Joanna Helfer.
Interested in the history of multi storey social housing and it’s impact on the Hilltown community of Dundee the project aimed to allow residents to reflect on their time in the demolished homes and give a wider audience insight into what living 22 up was really like.

Our exhibition of video, multimedia installation, historical archives, found objects and photographs documented four tenants that lived in the four towers through four decades and ran for four days in May 2012 at St Peter’s Free Church, Dundee. Portraits of the tenants remained in the windows of the Church until mid-June.
